Hey T. Yes, I’m excited, emotional and nervous. Excited is a given, the emotions are weird – all about family and friends – everything I touch has meaning, memory and I have to listen to that and then say goodbye. Nerves, or perhaps anxiety, is all about the unknown. And the waiting, which I better get used to…island time has no time.:)

And Jam, thanks for the heads up. I hadn’t thought about “adopting” the youngsters. I do know about the FBI check, am going to get fingerprinted Wed. morning.

Be yourself, and be positive. Be open to anything and show you are flexible. Also, the fewer restrictions you put on what you want the faster you’ll have a posting. Also, if they didn’t tell you yet, the FBI will do a background check. At least, they did back when I applied. Just so you know.

My interview was a lot of fun. More like a conversation than an interview. Email if you want more details.

It’s a fun ride–you’ll enjoy it!! (And remember to “adopt” the youngsters in your group And if you end up in Ghana, say hi to everyone for me )

Thanks, T. She’s back to her normal, snarky self. I guess life with an aging cat will be a roller coaster henceforth. Last time she had a similar episode I took her to the vet. Andrea, the vet, wanted to take Kitty’s blood pressure. I nearly died with laughter…imagine that tiny little bp cuff wrapped around her bony front leg. Hee.
